Day one down! The bus was packed and we left at 10 am. Once on the bus we played some warm up activities that allowed us to meet others. We all introduced each other to the bus. Seth told everyine that we are on their tour so we can learn from them and start one at our school. The whole bus clapped and cheered for us. It was nice to see hiw excited they were! After a fee hours of driving and seeing nothing in indiana we are finally in louisville kentucky. We got to tour the town and do some shopping. We even got to eat at a restaurant on the floor. That was a unique experience none of us have done before. We are heading back to the bus to drive to lexington and staying there the night! We are having so much fun. Day two is the first project day! Seth, liz, alexis, and myself all say hi from bus two :)

After 4.5 hours we have finally made it to ISU!  I wanna give a shout out to my best friend Erin Blank, miss you dear!  And thank you Jake Hanson and Brandon Robinson for helping me bring all my stuff to the car.  Both cars were fully loaded and left UNI full to the top!  Along the way we stopped at the World's Largest Truck Stop I-80!  Probably the highlight of my trip so far. When we got to Normal, Illinois the ISU STLFers were so nice and welcoming.  I cannot wait to spend sometime with them and learn all about STLF.  They were nice to even accommodate us with a place to stay.  They have allowed us to stay in one of their campus churches.  After hitting up Wal-Mart and getting some snacks we are so ready to call it a day.  We are all so excited and cannot wait for tomorrow morning.  The bus leaves at 10:00 am!!  Blogging along the way might be hard, because wi-fi is difficult to come by.  I will try my best!

loading up the car.

hitting the road!

Until next time :]

Hey guys!

Tomorrow a group of 9 great students from UNI, including myself, are going on a trip that is going to change our lives and create a new way in which students volunteer.  We are leaving UNI tomorrow at 4:00 pm and heading to Illinois State in Normal, Illinois to join them on their Pay-It-Forward Tour.  We will be visiting six different cities in nine days and along the way stopping to do various volunteer projects.  We are all so excited and cannot wait to be apart of this experience! Next year, our committee will organize UNI's first Pay-It-Forward Tour!
